This Program Manager position oversees the Concessions team in the Business & Properties Division for the retail, food and beverage, advertising, rental car, and other miscellaneous concessions programs at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, Phoenix Deer Valley Airport, and Phoenix Goodyear Airport. This position will oversee a staff of five.
This position is responsible for developing, negotiating, and implementing creative, revenue-generating agreements that align with the Department’s financial goals and strategic plan and provides guidance and oversight for the analysis of lease terms and conditions, analysis and interpretation of complicated legal documents, tenant and stakeholder space requests, valuations, concessions operations, contract administration and compliance, and complex solicitation processes. QUALIFICATIONS – Desired qualifications include a minimum of:
Five years of directly related professional experience in managing aviation business transactions, terminal concessions, tenant relations, monitoring concessions contracts and/or leases, developing, negotiating, and soliciting for terminal concessions, property management, and contract compliance administration.
Three years of this experience involving decision making responsibility for projects or programs.
Bachelor's degree in public or business administration, airport/aviation management, finance, economics, business law, management, or a related field.
An equivalent combination of related experience and education may be considered.
All positions in the Aviation Department require individuals to pass a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) background check prior to hire.
Works more than forty hours in a work week without additional compensation to perform assigned job duties, including weekends, evenings, early morning hours and holidays as required.
