Person will work in a specialized phase of operations at St. Louis Lambert International Airport performing a variety of complex duties and assignments to include responding to emergency situations, management of emergency preparedness training, manuals, liaising with local, state and Federal departments as well as applicable regulations pertaining to any and all Airport operations. Person works closely with all mutual aid agencies interacting with the airport during emergency situations, responds to snow removal emergencies, is able to utilize knowledge obtained from National Incident Management System (NIMS), Incident Command System (ICS) Training (ICS 100, 200, 402 and 700). Must have knowledge of the airport industry and associated FAA programs, particularly safety compliance and emergency planning.

Bachelors Degree in Emergency Management, Safety Management, Risk Management or a closely related field, plus two years of experience in emergency management and/or administering wrokplace safety and emergency preparedness programs.
Additional Salary Information: A commuting allowance of $141.00 bi-weekly is paid to City employees of St. Louis Lambert International Airport after taking residence in the City of St. Louis.
