We're looking for Airport Operations Security Coordinators at the Aspen Airport. Don't let the title of this job fool you. This all-encompassing position covers: Airside and Terminal Operations, Security Compliance, Emergency Management, Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting, Snow Removal and Wildlife Mitigation. Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred; AND five years of progressively responsible experience in facility maintenance and management; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Required Licenses or Certifications:
FAA ARFF 40 Hour Certification preferred or within six months from date of hire.
ICS Certifications (ICS 100, 200, NIMS 300, 700, 800) preferred or within six months from date of hire.
Must possess a valid Colorado Driver’s License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Commercial airport operations in relation to FAR Part 139.
TSA and FAA regulations; airport security compliance.
Wildlife mitigation compliance.
Safety policies, procedures, and practices.
General office procedures, policies and practices, as well as basic knowledge of computer and other general office equipment.
Knowledge of (Job Class Standard):
County policies and procedures.
State and federal laws and regulations governing work performed
Record keeping and records management rules and standards.
Local community issues and regional community resources available to citizens.
Troubleshooting parking systems.
Operating a computer including standard software and some specialized software.

Operating tools, equipment, and machinery in compliance with safety procedures and practices.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Work is performed in a standard office environment, with some exposure to dangerous tools, equipment, machinery, inclement weather conditions, and fumes.

Additional Salary Information: We have an excellent benefits package that includes a fitness/wellness benefit of $1,200 annually, hiring bonus of $6,000, housing stipend of $500 per month and up to $4,000 in relocation plus 13% of your gross salary into a retirement account.
