About City of Atlanta (Harstfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport)
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (HJAIA) is the largest airport in the world as measured by passenger volume for the 15th straight consecutive year. As the airport continues to expand its options for travelers, from adding Southwest Airlines to its roster of passenger airlines to updating food and beverage outlets throughout the terminals with local legends and world-renowned bran...ds, we continue to experience growth.
Our international visitors will experience the most high-profile new development at Hartsfield-Jackson - the Maynard H. Jackson Jr. International Terminal. With the Federal Aviation Administration forecasting that international traffic will increase by more than 30 percent over the next four years — to 13 million in 2015 — the new terminal will support the ever-changing needs of our airline partners and our customers for years to come.
Additionally, the international terminal helps strengthen Atlanta's position as a global gateway for the southeastern United States and as a preferred destination for international business and tourism. With the new facilities, Atlanta will have a 40-gate international air travel gateway with service to nearly 80 international destinations in more than 50 countries. To ensure that this trajectory is maintained, the need to acquire top talent is a key initiative of the management team.
As the world’s busiest and most efficient airport serving over 96 million passengers annually, HJAIA serves as a global gateway. We are the South’s leading employer with over 440,000 regionally supported jobs, 60,000 jobs onsite and an elite group of 600 employees that work directly for the HJAIA.. Our organization is unique as it offers opportunities in management, skilled, and technical positions. We are actively seeking talent to fill our open positions and invite you to apply.
