QUALIFICATIONS:
Combination of education and experience demonstrative knowledge, skills and abilities equivalent to:

• Current Professional Civil Engineer License from the State of Washington.

• Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university.

• Fifteen (15) years of experience in infrastructure system planning, design, modeling, construction and maintenance with at least five years of experience in management and supervising engineering staff.

• Knowledge of and experience in, FAA airport design standards or federal and state transportation standards.

 PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s degree in Engineering; and

• Aviation civil engineering and familiar with FAA Advisory Circulars and design standards.

• Department of Transportation experience in Contracting and Public Works.

• Previous engineering experience at a large or medium hub airport.
