Join a team committed to creating the next generation of aviation repair technicians. Located at Paine Field, Everett, WA, Everett Community College’s established aviation maintenance technician program is a neighbor to the Boeing Company and is in close proximity to over 100 aerospace suppliers.
The instructor will be responsible for teaching general, powerplant, and airframe courses. The successful candidate will possess a combination of technical and professional experiences that demonstrate the ability to:
—impart excitement and enthusiasm into the teaching of aviation technology to a wide range of students from novice to advanced technician
—adapt to a variety of teaching situations including a wide range of student preparedness
—successfully interact with supervisors, staff, and the aviation community as part of an educational team.
-Current FAA AMT Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
-Teaching experience in industry, military, or college.
-Five years of recent professional experience in aviation maintenance or aviation maintenance education with a focus on reciprocating engine rebuild and/or turbine engine maintenance.
