You’ll apply software engineering standards to real-time embedded software development, testing and validation, and use emerging technologies to modernize our nation’s nuclear weapons program. You’ll partner with Federal agencies on projects that touch every aspect of the nuclear field to ensure the relevance of the U.S. nuclear program—and the safety of every person it protects.

You Have: -6+ years of experience in IT -Experience with supporting DoD programs -Experience with software development for embedded multi-processor systems using C, C++, or Ada programming languages -Experience with reviewing software products for soundness of technical judgment and adequacy -Ability to work independently or in a team environment -Secret clearance -BA or BS degree
Nice If You Have: -Experience with nuclear weapon systems -Experience with real-time operating systems -Experience with using MATLAB -Experience with scripting -Experience with working in a DoD embedded software environment -Knowledge of data structures and algorithms -Knowledge of systems software design, operating systems, and architectures -Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills -Possession of excellent organizational, time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills -MA or MS degree in CS, Computer Engineering, EE, Mathematics, or a related field preferred
