The Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE) is offering a nine month airport management internship. This internship is an excellent opportunity to develop hands on day-to-day experience at a commercial airport. The commitment is not to be an observer, but to study and understand the principles and objectives inherent in the world of aviation and airport management. The Eagle County Regional Airport is a vital economic engine for Eagle County and surrounding mountain communities. The Airport is largely seasonal with the majority of flights scheduled during the winter months due to the Airport's proximity to world class ski resorts.
The internship is nine months in duration working normal business hours. Two weeks of unpaid time will be provided during the internship. Interns are not eligible for Eagle County benefits.
Education and Experience:
Applicants must have either completed a Bachelor's Degree program in Aviation Management or related field within the past two years or be a Junior or Senior in good standing at the time of application.
Licenses, certifications, knowledge, skills and abilities:
Possession of a valid Colorado driver's license (or equivalent)
Microsoft office suite
Ability to compose letters, memos, and reports in a professional manner
Ability to understand and generate mathematical computations
Ability to follow directions and complete assignments on time
Knowledge of office equipment
