Airport Infrastructure Management at Denver International Airport (DEN) is seeking a talented Civil Building Information Modeling (BIM) Coordinator to coordinate efforts to develop and further expand the Airport's airside and landside Civil Building Information Modeling (BIM) capability. This capability is a key foundational element of DEN's asset management initiative.
AIM is responsible for the establishment/maintenance of BIM data and systems. Internal DEN organizations that will update data include: Airport Infrastructure Management's Design and Construction functions for the management of architectural and engineering data on facilities/systems and maintaining accurate and up-to-date building documentation; Airport GIS for maintaining airport mapping systems and meeting FAA requirements; Airport Operations in keeping the airport operational and safe; and Commercial Division. for lease/space management, revenue generation tracking
DEN is currently focused on creating/maintaining BIM data/services and enhancing integration of business systems with BIM and GIS and Maximo (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to better serve our customers.
Education Requirement: Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering, Planning, Engineering or a directly related field. Experience Requirement: Three years of experience completing complex, multi-disciplinary Civil BIM projects
Preferred Qualifications: Licensed Civil Engineer. Expertise with the following software tools: Autodesk Civil 3D. Optional SharePoint as a project management and collaboration tool. Optional ArcGIS, AutoCAD, Revit or related Engineering and GIS applications. Experience in development and implementation of policies relating to BIM and managing policy change within large organizations. Project coordination experience within large organizations and multiple stakeholders. Education/Experience Equivalency: Additional appropriate type and level of experience may be substituted for the minimum education requirement on a one year for one year basis.
