The Portland International Jetport is seeking a highly-qualified and experienced aviation professional for the position of Airport Deputy Director - Operations and Maintenance. The selected applicant will oversee the development of a growing Airport Operations division, and will be instrumental in providing leadership for an innovative and industry leading safety culture and operation. This is a senior Airport Management position. Directly supervises the Airfield Construction and Maintenance Manager and the Assistant Airport Operations Managers. Responsible for all Airport Maintenance and Operations personnel. Has auditing and overall compliance oversight of Part 139 including but not limited to ARFF, Wildlife, Snow and Ice Control Plan, and Security. Effective communication skills are a must. Ability to pass all required background investigations and maintain a valid Class C Maine Driver’s License. Completion of a 4-year degree in Airport Management or a related field. A minimum of seven (7) years senior level airport operations experience at a Part 139 airport with snow removal operations. Salary range: $68,581.76 - $92,020.76/year, depending on qualifications.
