Plans, airline operations to include terminal, concourses, cargo, fuel, catering, ground support equipment and fixed based operator facilities.
Fosters atmosphere of innovation in order to challenge the organization to think creatively, especially as it relates to positive passenger experience opportunities and efficient airport operations.
Direct the business development activities of the airline operations program, including concept identification and development, resolution of complex technical issues and process improvement as it relates to airport operations.
Manages airport's operating relationship with airlines by collaborating with the other airport divisions, to come up with the best solutions to address the needs of the airlines.
Communicates, supports and integrates the organization's strategic plan into functional and operational areas. Provides expert advice in specialized functional/technical area to senior leadership. Regularly uses communication skills to influence, persuade, mediate and/or negotiate with others to make decisions and/or take actions of major consequence or long-term significance to the organization.
In addition to the below requirements our ideal candidate must have comprehensive technical knowledge of airport and airline operations at a large hub airport. This is to include airside and terminal operations, security, safety, ramp tower/gate management, contracts, and finance.
You must also have knowledge in the administration of airport contracts to include automated people movers, baggage handling systems and other airport specific functions. Must have an understanding of airport regulatory requirements and work with airport stakeholders to ensure compliance.
Required Qualifications: Baccalaureate Degree Three years of experience acting as an administrator or analyst within airport and/ or airline operation. A combination of appropriate education and experience may be substituted for the minimum education and experience requirements.
