Required qualifications:

• Earned doctorate in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering and/or a related field by the time of appointment
• Evidence of teaching excellence as appropriate to the candidate’s rank

Desired qualifications:

• Technical expertise in one or more of the following areas: dynamics, structures, aerospace structures, rocket and space propulsion, and spacecraft design
