SUMMARY OF POSITION This position is primarily responsible for the maintenance of airport grounds, facilities, airfield infrastructure and equipment. Primary duties include the coordination, supervision and completion of maintenance activities performed on the airport grounds. Additional responsibilities include tasks related to airport operational safety and environmental protection programs. This position supervises other maintenance employees.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or GED; three (3) years of progressively responsible experience maintaining pavements, turf, electrical systems and/or facilities, plus 2 years of supervisory experience or a combination of vocational/technical training and experience. Valid Class C Driver's License.
Any work related experience resulting in acceptable proficiency levels in the above Minimum Qualifications is an acceptable substitute for the above specified education and experience requirements.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT Must pass a drug screen, driving record check, and background check. Must have a valid Texas Class C driver's license.
