Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport is currently seeking an Airfield Technician for a multi-functional role in an organization that thrives on collaboration, vigor and ever-changing challenges. The Airfield Technician will perform airfield maintenance on airport facilities by mowing, cleaning and repair work on all runways, taxiways, perimeter fence and access roads, storm water systems and drainage, pavement marking, asphalt/concrete repairs and installation, and crack sealing in order to...interested?
Available to work all shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays, as well as on call rotation.
Must be available to remove snow from landside and airfield as necessary.
Ability to lift up to 100 pounds without assistance when needed, and stand for long periods of time, including an 8-hour shift.
Three or more years of experience in airfield grounds work
Experience using Light and heavy equipment used in snow removal
Experience working with high-voltage lighting system (up to 5000 volts)
General knowledge of high-voltage electrical system operations and safety requirements
Herbicide and pesticide applicator certifications
ACE Airfield Maintenance certification
