The City of Fresno Airports Department is currently recruiting for an Airports Operations Officer II ($4,788-5,821, experience required)
Since the Great Recession, the Airport has experienced record growth in passenger traffic of over 55% and is projected to surpass 1 Million enplanements for FY 2020. Over $250 million of capital improvement projects have been identified for the next 10 years, including a $115 million terminal expansion and parking garage to be operation in the fall of 2022.
Under general supervision, the incumbent will perform administrative duties contributing to the efficiency of Airport operations; monitors and inspects the airfield, airport facilities, and personnel to ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAA), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), and airport policies and procedures. In addition, the Airports Operations Officer is responsible for coordinating airport operations to ensure safety and security of the public, tenants and airport staff.
Airports Operations Officer II:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in Aviation Management, Aviation Science, Airport Management or closely related field and one (1) year of experience with City of Fresno Airports; or an equivalent position with another FAA Part 139 Certified Airport.
