The Airfield Maintenance Chief will oversee the day to day operations of the Airfield Maintenance Department of the Evansville Regional Airport. Supervises personnel and performs airport property and equipment maintenance and operation according to all applicable rules and regulations. Works under limited supervision of the Director of Operations & Maintenance.
Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Airport Management, or related field. Two years of Airport management, operations or maintenance experience required, or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities. Prior supervisory experience is preferred. Must demonstrate proficient computer skills, including skills in database and spreadsheet. Successful pre-employment physical and drug screen. Ability to obtain American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) Airport Certified Employee (ACE) – Operations certification within one (1) year of hire. Ability to pass a rigorous background security check to obtain and maintain a Security Identification Area (SIDA) badge. Valid IN driver’s license required.
