The Manager of Operations and Maintenance is responsible for the general oversight of TBI AM’s international and domestic operations, both airside and landside.
-Manage the Operations Department consisting of approximately 120 team members -Direct programs associated in the administration and operation of the International Complex and the Airport’s common use facilities and equipment -Ensure everyone operating within operation’s area of responsibility comply with federal, state and local regulations -Implement newly developed operational policies & procedures. -Moderate meetings with governmental agencies and all other airport stakeholders. -Interface with federal agencies, airlines and the Department of Aviation to ensure each entity’s requirements are satisfied. -Oversee maintenance for the FIS facility, PlaneMates, CoBuses, Operations and Control Center and North Terminal common use ticketing/baggage areas. -Inspect facilities, ramp/apron and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. -Coordinate projects with outside contractors. -Other assigned duties
$80,000 - $95,000/yr
Must possess required knowledge, skills, abilities and experience and be able to explain and demonstrate, with or without reasonable accommodations, that the essential functions of the job can be performed.
University degree or the equivalent education/experience
Five years of progressively responsible experience, with a minimum of three years in a lead worker of supervisory capacity.
Excellent, proven interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work in a proactively diverse and inclusive organization.
Effective problem solving and mediation skills.
Ability to gain general employee support for ideas in order to successfully implement projects and initiatives.
Proven ability to share skills and knowledge with others.
Air Traffic Controller or Pilot experience is desired but not required.
Experience at a major hub airport and/or with a commercial air carrier is a plus.
