ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES •Monitor Airport operations to ensure that they remain safe, secure, and well maintained. •Develop short-term and long-term goals, deadlines, and processes for efficient operations, including emergency and security planning. •Confer with customers, supervisors, contractors, and other personnel to exchange information and to resolve problems related to the airport. •Maintain funding through compliance with grant specifications. Research new and applicable grant funding sources. •Supervise procurement of all capital assets, and approve all purchases. Solicit bids and submit specifications for purchase of major items of equipment, structures, etc. •Develop and renew airport leases, lease rates, landing fees, and other charges to airport users such as fuel pricing, parking fees, engine heat, power starts, etc. •Monitor field work for quality, compliance, and appropriate use of public funds.
Enid Woodring Regional Airport is located 4 miles east of downtown Enid, Oklahoma. Enid is also home to Vance Air Force Base
Our airport is open 365 days of the year from 6:00 AM to 9:30 PM. After hour services are available to transient aircraft.
From May through August, we have fly-ins every third Saturday that residents and visitors are welcome to attend. Feel free to come out and watch the aircraft arrive and depart throughout the morning!
We also have other events throughout the year that are family friendly and open to the public!
