The City is looking for an innovative and business-oriented aviation professional to direct and administer the overall operation of the regional airport and the surrounding commercial, residential, and industrial properties. The position will work closely with UAS Range Manager and Economic Development Director to continue to increase airport revenues and aviation activity. The candidate must be very comfortable with both manned and unmanned aviation, and willing to work diligently towards the safe integration of the NAS.

A college or university bachelor’s degree in Business or Public Administration, Real Estate, Airport Administration or a closely related field required, and progressively responsible experience in administration as a manager, assistant manager, facilities manager, or operations supervisor with a minimum of three years’ experience in a position involving airport management, commercial real estate activities and/or property management; or a satisfactory equivalent combination of education and experience.  

About The City of Pendleton
Eastern Oregon Regional Airport (PDT) is a non-primary airport served by Boutique Air (PDT to PDX 3 x's daily). It also serves as headquarters for the Pendleton UAS Range. Airport enjoys a 6,300-ft., ILS-equipped, primary runway and a 5,881-ft. secondary runway. PDT is a part of the EAS Program (only one in the NW). The ATC Tower (Serco) is open 14 hours a day. Airport property includes over 2,300 acres with two industrial parks, 20-miles of mountain biking trails, a large solar array, and a 1000-acre farm (wheat). Terminal tenants include Boutique Air & Rental Car, Elvis' Restaurant, Airport Admin, and a UAS (drone) schoolhouse. Airfield tenants include two fuelers; several ag service providers (fixed wing and rotor); Life Flight; and several UAS companies.
