The Planning Department is responding to the growing needs of the City, consider joining our team as a Senior Stormwater Engineer.
The talent you bring will help us:
Review developer applications and project plans for compliance with critical areas, grading and Stormwater regulations including LID design and implementation, applicable standards, policies, codes and regulations compliance.
Schedule and lead the Civil Coordinated Review process from start to finish.
Participate in public hearings and meetings.
Attend preconstruction conferences and represent the division in internal design and construction meetings.
The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering or related field from an accredited college or university.
Seven (7) years engineering experience which includes three years of project administration and management responsibilities.
Or any equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Engineer-Senior requires a Professional Engineer's License.
Valid driver's license required by date of hire with a driving record that meets City standards.
