The President & CEO has primary responsibility for the efficient operation and administration of the Orlando Sanford International Airport and reports to the Board of Directors for the Sanford Airport Authority.

• Four-year degree from an accredited college or university. Consideration given for Master’s or doctorate level degrees, Accredited Airport Executive Certified Member certification or Accredited Airport Executive designation.
• 5 years’ experience in airport or quasi-government executive management. Preferably a minimum of 5 years at a comparable size commercial airport with a commerce park or commensurate business experience.

Preference is given to those candidates with years of practical experience in, and a working knowledge of, all areas of aviation
