The Airport Operations Specialist at Lincoln Airport is responsible for ensuring compliance with FAA regulations. Tasks include, but are not limited to: implementing the Airport Certification Manual, conducting required inspections, submitting work orders and verifying completion, issuing NOTAMs, participating in snow removal activities, and implementing the Wildlife Hazard Management Plan. The Airport Operations Specialist works closely with the Airport Maintenance Department and works under the general supervision of the Director of Operations. Lincoln Airport (LNK) is a commercial service and general aviation airport located in Lincoln, Nebraska. The airport is operated by Lincoln Airport Authority which is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of five members who are elected to six-year terms.
