The salary range for this position is $153,210 - $229,815. A starting salary above the mid-point is achievable for the exceptional candidate and will be dependent upon experience. Additional annual compensation as an incentive bonus based on organizational performance is determined annually, as budget resources allow. The Tucson Airport Authority (TAA) is seeking a Vice President/Chief Financial Officer. The Vice President/Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a member of the TAA Executive Team and will report to the President/CEO of the TAA. This position will play a critical team role in developing and implementing short- and long-term strategies to maximize revenue and ensure fiscal sustainability in support of the TAA Strategic Plan. Specifically, this position will support strategic and business initiatives related to growing airport revenue areas and defining/ implementing initiatives for profitable and sustainable business performance and revenue growth. Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration or a related field. Must have a minimum of ten years of progressive management and high-level supervisory experience working at a commercial service airport (small, medium, or large hub) with demonstrable financial and accounting experience.
Qualifications for the Vice President/CFO are a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration or a related field; Master’s Degree preferred. Must have a minimum of ten years of progressive management and high-level supervisory experience working at a commercial service airport (small, medium, or large hub) with demonstrable financial and accounting experience. Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred; industry credential, e.g., AMPAP, I.A.P., A.A.E, preferred. Must have strong organizational leadership skills to lead a high performing organization, exhibit strong financial planning capabilities and fiscal management skills, advanced relationship management skills and extensive experience working with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders to bring project strategies from concept to successful completion.
