The FAA seeks an innovative change agent with substantial experience in national airport policy. The Deputy Associate Administrator for Airports is responsible for ensuring a safe and efficient system of airports, the adequacy of substantive aspects of the FAA rulemaking actions relating to certification of airports, the administration of airport grant programs, environmental and social requirements and compliance-related policies. The incumbent oversees a budget of approximately $7B and provides Executive direction to a geographically dispersed workforce of approximately 600 employees to include 14 Executives and approximately 67 senior employees.
