Under direction of the Signs & Markings Supervisor, works independently, or in a team, to lead the design, fabrication, installation, and maintenance of a diverse variety of new and replacement signs, and to perform layouts, installations, and removals of various pavement markings. These areas encompass both public and airfield applications, interior and exterior environments, and require compliance with a variety of laws and regulations, such as FAA, TX-DOT, MUTCD, FHWA and Airport Board criteria. Work also involves design, fabrication, installation, and removal of various complex vehicle graphics. Work is highly specialized, involving the use of various computer-aided systems, and additionally requires the exercise of leadership skills on certain projects as directed by the Supervisor
