Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized architectural and engineering firm, is experiencing unprecedented growth. As a result, a full-time position is available for a senior project manager. This position would lead project teams focused on delivering architecture, engineering and planning services for government facilities.
Responsibilities include: • Leading project teams assigned to the client’s project portfolio • Developing scopes, fees, contracts and subcontracts • Tracking and monitoring scopes, schedules, budgets and fees for small to large projects • Scheduling and facilitating team and client meetings • Building new and maintaining current client relationships • Strategically expand business opportunities in government projects • Developing and delivering presentations to client
Limited travel will be required.
The successful candidate must have the following: • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in architecture from an accredited college or university AND • At least 10 years of relevant experience of which two must be at the project manager level OR, if no degree • At least 14 years of relevant experience of which two must be at the project manager level
The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following: • Experience in managing project for government facilities • Managing project teams on large complex projects from proposal stage through project closeout • Business development experience – seeking out and following through on new project opportunities • Architecture license in any state with ability to obtain additional licensures • NCARB certification • LEED AP, WELL Accredited Professional, or Guiding Principles Compliance Professional
