$15 per hour, 40 hours per week; 11-week duration with flexible start and finish dates
This internship will provide you excellent insights into Airport Tenant Services, Airport Operations and Security, Airfield Maintenance, Terminal Maintenance, finance and Administration, Project and Environmental Management, Ground Transportation and Parking Services and General Aviation Management.
As an intern you will work with both management and airport staff to gain valuable experience.
Qualified applicants should have a bachelor’s degree or be currently working toward an undergraduate degree in airport management, business, engineering, construction management, environmental studies or related field. You should also demonstrate an interest in an aviation or airport management career. The following skills and abilities are preferred:
Attention to detail and directions
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as unsupervised
Engineering experience desirable, but not required.
Strong writing skills, ability to write a variety of communications and documents
Experience with Microsoft Windows operating system; Word; Excel; Outlook, PowerPoint, AutoCAD and ARC GIS experience desirable
