Reporting to the Director of Planning and Engineering, the Airport Planner: -Develops planning programs, compiles and analyzes planning data -Plans and directs team-oriented planning projects. Manages and coordinates consultant led planning projects -Prepares reports and plans to support complex issues, such as the Airport Master Plan and Airport Improvement Program (AIP) purpose and need statements, site and area development planning, compatible land use planning, airfield capacity, terminal capacity, sustainability plans, Part 150 documentation, facility and infrastructure requirements analyses, project programming, facility use surveys and analyses -Reviews development on and off airport for compliance with applicable planning and FAA rules and regulations
