This is a union covered position. Under general supervision, this position performs a variety of duties at a general aviation, Part 139 Certified Airport and is responsible for ensuring that daily airport operations are conducted in accordance with FAR Part 139. Assist Duty Supervisor in conducting airfield inspections, identifying and reporting all deficiencies and/or irregularities found on the AOA, associated lighting, and NAVAID systems. Issue NOTAMs as instructed. Act as a liaison with Air Traffic Control, Teterboro ARFF group and all responding agencies during airport emergencies. Responsible for airfield safety to include identifying, preventing, responding to and/or removing all hazards to aviation including FOD, wildlife, AOA incursions, unauthorized vehicles and pedestrian entry,
