Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice/Political Science, Public Administration, Aviation Management, Business Management or related field
Minimum ten (10) years of progressively responsible management experience in aviation security, law enforcement, corrections, military or related fields
Minimum of five years in airport management or related field
Preferred Education & Experience
Master’s degree in aviation or transportation management, business, or an area related to assignment
8 to10 years in a senior management role in airport operations regulatory compliance
Licensures and Certifications
Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license at the time of application.A valid Georgia driver’s license must be presented for verification at the time of appointment. Certified Protection Professional (CPP) designation is desired but not required. Any professional leadership subject matter expertise designation is a plus.

Individual must successfully undergo an FBI fingerprint based criminal history records check with no disqualifying crimes within the last ten (10) years and a Security Threat Assessment.
