Job Overview: The Branson Airport Regional Transportation Development District (TDD) is seeking a seasoned or retired airport director to oversee the airport operator in a part-time capacity. This position would require approximately 3 to 5 days per month to perform necessary duties. A substantial degree of flexibility is given as to which days are committed to this part-time work. This position will report to the TDD board.
Key Responsibilities: • Formulate TDD Budget for annual board approval in coordination with Branson Airport LLC (BALLC) • Oversee the operating lease with BALLC which includes FAR Part 139 compliance, annual reporting requirements, review of annual capital budget and 5-year Airport Capital Improvement Plan (ACIP) • Act as airport sponsor to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Central Region on Airport Improvement Plan (AIP) funding and miscellaneous grants • Oversee FAA grant assurances and compliance
Qualifications:
Experience administering government grants
Airport management experience preferred
Knowledge of transportation planning, funding sources, management principles and practices.
Knowledge and understanding of FAR part 139 requirements for airports
