Oversees all matters pertaining to the safe and efficient operation, maintenance and development of Marco Island, Immokalee and Everglades Airports. Manages the day-to-day administration of a general aviation airport and Fixed Base Operation. Employees in this classification execute the policies and procedures of the Airport Authority as they relate to airport operations; promote the airports and develop and administer programs to improve the facilities and services at the airports; and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Airport Management, or closely related field. • Four (4) years of related experience. • Must possess or be able to obtain Certified Member (CM) Certification from the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) within 6 months of hire. • Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver’s License with any applicable endorsement(s) to drive a County vehicle as provided in CMA 5805.
