This is technical work in receiving and transmitting a variety of calls to include normal, irregular and emergency calls for information and messages within the Airport Operations Control Center (AOCC) and in coordination with JAA personnel, airlines, tenants, TSA, FAA, and other agencies/groups at JAX. Work requires knowledge of routine and emergency communications operating procedures, with the ability to operate various communication equipment including phones and radios. Applicants will be required to answer and respond to various types of calls from individuals and require assertiveness as well as sensitivity to ensure appropriate information is gathered and transmitted according to the situation.
