SFO is hiring Airfield Safety Officers to patrol and inspect the airfield, enforce security regulations, and conduct investigations. Duties include enforcing Airport rules, responding to security breaches, and handling airfield incidents. Ideal candidates possess situational awareness, understand aviation terminology, and remain calm under pressure. Desired candidates have thorough knowledge of CFR Part 139, Part 77, and FAA Advisory Circulars 150 series; working knowledge of CFR Part 1542; expertise in aviation phraseology and public safety communications with the ability to communicate via 2-way radio with FAA Air Traffic Control, Operations Dispatchers, and team members; proficiency in First Responder duties, incident response, and management; and an understanding of FEMA ICS; a Pilot’s
