The Grand Forks Regional Airport Authority is offering a paid, up to full-time internship that is designed to enhance the applicant’s knowledge, skills, and abilities that are needed in airport management. The intern will gain a real-world understanding of the airport environment. This opportunity will provide meaningful hands-on situations that will enhance a student’s academic experience. The year-long position may rotate among the major areas of an airport: administration, operations, maintenance, and aircraft rescue firefighting. This temporary position is intended for a college level, highly self-motivated, professional individual. Hours can be flexible and may include or require some non-traditional schedules. Minimum Requirements:
A junior/senior or graduate of an Aviation University with preference given to applicants with a major in Airport Management
Minimum Grade Point Average of 2.75/4.0
Ability to work 40 hours per week (full time)
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Ability to pass a Criminal History Record Check
Valid Driver’s License
Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral forms
