Under general direction of the Airport Operations Manager, this position coordinates use of airport facilities in accordance with established policies and procedures. Maintains airport compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) Part 139, Transportation Security Regulation (TSR) Part 1542, City of Waco Ordinances, and all other applicable statutes regulations and requirements to ensure the safety and security of all airport users. Position performs duties as required by 14 C.F.R. Part 139 and the Airport Certification Manual including wildlife hazard management, Issuing Notices to Air Missions (NOTAMS), work order management, fueling inspections, emergency response, 14 C.F.R. Part 77 airspace, and construction safety/management. Position also assists with implementing the 49 C.F.R. Part 1542 requirements of the Airport Security Program including: badging, audits, access control/video monitoring, and training.
