Posting is for a 40-hour/week OPS Airport Operations Agent position at the Tallahassee International Airport. Position is a great opportunity to join the Tallahassee Airport Operations Team and be part of a developing Airport to gain valuable industry knowledge, training, and experience in all areas of Airport Operations. This position performs airfield, perimeter, grounds, and terminal inspections in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations, Transportation Security Administration Regulations, airport rules and regulations, leases and agreements. The position enforces Airport rules and regulations, provides customer assistance, operations and emergency response coordination. May operate an airport communications center and monitor security cameras as needed. Maintains activity logs and other records. Performs related work as required.
Salary Range: Expected hiring rate: $20.34/hour.

Minimum Training and Experience Possession of an associate’s degree in aviation management, business or public administration, communications, criminal justice, or a related field and one year of experience in aviation, law enforcement, firefighting, emergency management or communications, military service, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Necessary Special Requirements In accordance with 49 CFR Part 1542, employees must successfully complete a fingerprint-based criminal history records check and personal background check prior to employment. Must possess a valid Class E State driver's license at the time of appointment.
