The County of Volusia is seeking an Assistant Airport Manager (Supervisor IV). This position is located at the Daytona Beach International Airport and is responsible for ensuring the smooth continuity of daily airport activities in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) Parts 139, 77, and Transportation Security Administration (TSA) 1542 and 1540 requirements.

Pay: $24.61-$44.78
Graduation from high school or possession of a GED and two (2) years of experience as a Supervisor III or seven (7) years of experience coordinating and scheduling employees engaged in airport activities.
Must possess and maintain a valid Florida driver's license at time of appointment.
Must successfully complete Wildlife Hazard Management Training to include Pyrotechnic and Firearms training within six (6) months of appointment and maintain certification thereafter.
A Florida CDL may be required within six (6) months of appointment depending upon the division of assignment. CDL level will be determined by appointing director.
Must have or be willing to obtain the Airport Certified Employee (ACE) accreditation through the American Association of Airport Executive within the first three years or as directed by Supervisor.
A comparable amount of education, training, or experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.
