Overseeing and coordinating efficient and safe operations of the Airport while managing and leading the airport staff across all operations Spearheading marketing efforts Conducting public relation activities Representing MKL to foster relationships with businesses and tenants Identifying, securing, and managing state and federal funding to support capital improvement of the airport Formulating innovative marketing strategies and presentations to attract and retain passenger and cargo services Serving as liaison between JMCAA and the City of Jackson and Madison County
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Marketing, Aviation or similar work experience.
Experience working with governing bodies and communities in support of an airport.
Must possess or be able to obtain a valid Tennessee Driver License.
Must be able to travel regionally 25% of the time.
Have or obtain, within one year of hire, AAAE or CM accreditation from the American Association of Airport Executives.
Private Pilot with instrument rating preferred
Successful candidate should have experience managing multiple employees.
