Responsibilities Manages, organizes, and directs administration of the assigned work related to the design, engineering, construction and life-cycle asset inventory for airport project. Directs and coordinates with staff, contractors, KCAD personnel of enhanced planning, design, asset management and inventory of capital and maintenance projects. REQUIRES an accredited Bachelor's degree in public or business administration, airport management, engineering or a related field, and 2 years of experience of a progressively responsible nature Within the Aviation department or industry, including 2 years’ experience at the level of Administrative Officer. OR an equivalent combination of qualifying education and experience. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen as prescribed by the City. Preference given to applicants with degrees in aviation, engineering, architecture, planning, landscape architecture and experience with working on airports and planning efforts with the FAA and Capital programs.
