The City of Manassas is accepting applications to join our Airport Maintenance Team! Located at the beautiful Manassas Regional Airport, we are looking for an energetic, proactive team-player who enjoys completing indoor and outdoor maintenance.
This announcement is listed as a range of Maintenance tiers to allow for a broad applicant pool.
Maintenance Worker - responsible for performing skilled work in the maintenance and repair of airport buildings, facilities, equipment and grounds, ensuring the safety of airport personnel, contract workers and the general public.
Maintenance Technician I - responsible for performing skilled work and serve as lead worker in the inspection, troubleshooting, servicing, adjusting, repair, and replacing of equipment and systems in Airport buildings and airfield, equipment and grounds, ensuring the safety of airport personnel, contract workers and the general public.
The starting rates are: Maintenance Worker: $19.21/hour Maintenance Technician: $24.51/hour

Airport Maintenance Worker
High School diploma or GED
Two years’ experience in operations or maintenance work
Airport Maintenance Technician I
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Four years’ experience in airfield maintenance work
Special Requirements
Airport Maintenance Worker Must obtain/possess a valid Virginia Class B Commercial Driver’s License.
Airport Maintenance Technician I Must obtain/possess a Universal Refrigerant license, Certified Pesticide applicators license. Completion of the AAAE ACE course for Airfield electrical will be required. Must obtain/possess a valid Virginia Class B Commercial Driver’s License.
