Formulates, develops, and manages all occupational safety and health functions of the organization to minimize employee risk, reduce workers' compensation costs, and comply with occupational safety and health standards. Provides technical support and training to departments in need of skill enrichment, hazard identification awareness, and safety improvement to reduce risk. Develops, reviews, and revises organizational safety programs to ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health (OSHS) requirements. Facilitates the investigation of accidents, injuries, and illnesses to identify root cause and corrective action plan and trends. Facilitates the direction and focus of the Safety Committee, including member selection, meetings, and routine safety inspection
