Branson Airport is seeking a forward-thinking Deputy Director of Operations to join our executive leadership team. This pivotal role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence across all facets of the airport while also managing the commercial success of airline and FBO terminal services.
Key Responsibilities •Partner with the Airport Director in overseeing daily operations across airside, landside, terminal, and FBO functions •Ensure full compliance with FAA, TSA, and other state and local regulations •Lead emergency response planning and operational safety protocols •Deliver exceptional service standards to both commercial airlines and private aviation clients •Cultivate strong relationships with tenants, airlines, government agencies, and high-value clients •Manage operational budgets, vendor agreements, and capital improvement projects
Qualifications • 5+ years of progressive experience in airport operations, with strong knowledge of FAR Part 139 compliance and facility oversight • Demonstrated leadership in managing high-performing, client-focused teams • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and decision-making skills • Preferred candidate will have experience in managing FBO operations or other commercial businesses, including business development, customer service, pricing strategy, and revenue generation • AAAE certifications (CM, AAE) preferred • Ability to pass and maintain Security Threat Assessment and criminal background checks
