The Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority is seeking a Manager, Airfield Operations for the Buffalo Niagara International Airport (BUF). This position is responsible for leading and overseeing key operational and maintenance functions that ensure safe, compliant, and efficient airfield activity. Reporting to the Deputy Director, Aviation, this role manages critical infrastructure and personnel, enforces FAA regulations, and ensures airfield operations align with the Airport Certification Manual and Part 139 requirements. This position plays a central role in maintaining airport safety, operational readiness, and regulatory compliance. The Manager supervises multiple departments including airfield operations, electrical systems, equipment maintenance, and landscape services. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, aviation, or a related field. Minimum of five years’ experience at a Part 139 airport in airfield operations, general aviation, and cargo services.
