Under the general direction of the Airport Executive Director, perform, manage and oversee the daily operations and training of the airfield self-inspections and condition reporting, work orders, Airport Emergency and Wildlife Management plans. Responsible for maintaining the Airport’s Certification Manual and Security Plans or any other duties as specified by the Executive Director. Perform skilled, semi-skilled and manual work functions associated with the maintenance of airport airfield, lighting, signage, equipment and daily operations and maintenance of Airport facilities. Perform the duties of the Executive Director in his/her absence. Maintains appropriate records on safety procedures, precautionary measures and policy implementation regarding airport safety; Performs, Coordinates and supervises the inspection of the physical condition of the Airport Operations Area, including runways, taxiways, aircraft parking aprons and lighting systems; Manage the coordination of environmental programs that involve storm water pollution prevention and petroleum pollution prevention.

• A minimum of two years’ experience developing and assuring compliance with all Federal and State mandated training and certification/re-certification in accordance with Federal Air Regulation (FAR) Part 139 and Transportation Security Regulation (TSR) Part 1542.
• Experience in compliance inspections/incident investigations
• Knowledge and experience in developing, presenting and managing technical manuals, training materials involving all facets of operations, safety, and environmental issues.
• Understanding of Airport Operations and Safety and Notice to Airmen (NOTAMS)
• Skills to operate computer software; such as, but not limited to Microsoft office, NOTAM Manager,  App-139 or other specialized software adopted by the Airport.
