Sacramento International Airport (SMF), operated by the Sacramento County Department of Airports, is seeking two motivated and enthusiastic interns for either Airside Operations or Landside Operations. This internship offers a hands-on introduction to the fast-paced and rewarding field of airport management. Interns will support the day-to-day operations of a busy commercial service airport and gain experience in airside and landside functions, customer service, and regulatory compliance. Participants will work alongside experienced Airport Operations Managers and Officers, gaining real-world insight into what it takes to keep a major airport running smoothly 24/7. This internship period will be for the summer of 2026 and can last up to 1 year.
