Position Summary
The Air Service Development Manager leads Punta Gorda Airport’s efforts to attract, retain, and expand commercial air service. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this role combines airline engagement, data-driven analysis, and strategic planning to support new and expanded routes. The position serves as the primary point of contact with airline network planners and aviation industry executives and requires a strong understanding of airline economics, network planning, and applied market analysis. Frequent domestic travel and occasional international travel are required.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and present airline route business cases, including passenger demand forecasting, revenue projections, and competitive analysis.

Analyze aviation, transportation, and market data to identify air service opportunities and evaluate route performance.

Engage directly with airline partners, network planners, and industry stakeholders to support air service growth.

Support air service strategies, airline incentive programs, and service agreements in coordination with airport leadership.

Prepare and deliver clear, executive-level presentations and recommendations.

Represent the Airport at airline meetings, air service development conferences, and industry events.

Collaborate with marketing, finance, and airport teams on air service initiatives, promotions, and planning.

Ensure compliance with applicable FAA policies and regulatory requirements.
Minimum Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in aviation, business, finance, economics, marketing, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum of four (4) years of professional-level experience in air service development, airline network planning, aviation or transportation analysis, data analytics, applied economics, or a closely related field.

Experience developing and presenting data-driven business cases, forecasts, or market analyses.

Ability to travel frequently within the United States and occasionally internationally.

Valid driver’s license.
