AIRPORT INTERN Bismarck Airport (BIS), Bismarck, ND. One-year professional internship with exposure to airport operations, facilities management, and administration. Internship begins June 1, 2026, and ends May 31, 2027. Qualified candidate will be a recent graduate (or will graduate before the start date) of an airport or aviation management degree field or equivalent and possess a strong work ethic and the initiative to carry out assignments without direct supervision. Pilot’s license and membership in AAAE desired. Computer literacy, preferably with Windows and Microsoft software a plus. Some weekend and shift work will be required. Intern is compensated at $17.00/hour. The airport is classified as a primary commercial service non-hub airport that enplanes over 309,000 passengers annually (CY2025). Must be a minimum of 18 years old. Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Airport Administration or closely related field from an accredited four-year college or university or will have completed the degree prior to starting employment. Must meet and maintain qualifications pursuant to 49 CFR 1542 (Unescorted Access Authority). Must have a valid ND driver’s license. Desired: Pilot License, Membership in AAAE.
