Summary: This position is primarily responsible for implementing 14 CFR Part 139 as well as 49 CFR Part 1542 related activities at the Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport. Responsibilities: 1. Oversees and conducts 139 inspections including regular, scheduled, periodic, continuous, and special inspections of the airfield for compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. 2. Maintains and implements the Airport Certification Manual, including the Wildlife Hazard Management Plan, Airport Emergency Plan, and the Snow and Ice Control Plan. 3. Conducts walk-through inspections of airport facilities and other public areas to include roadways, parking lots, and other facility grounds and reports deficiencies to Airport Maintenance via work order system. 4.
