Under general direction of the Director of Airports, the Deputy Director Airports coordinates and administers multiple program areas which may include: operations, emergency services, facilities maintenance, security, properties, accounting, grants, construction, development, and administration functions of both County airports; manages policies and procedures; provides direction and supervision to technical staff; consults with legal counsel; acts for the Director of Airports in the latter's absence; and performs related work as required.
